First you stuff it with pumpkin pie and strawberry. Then you sprinkle it with salt and pepper. You put it in the oven for 15 minutes. When you take it out of the oven you chop it up and take the bones off. And eat up!

Roasting Dishes We all tend to go for the widest roaster we can find that will fit our oven, then find that we cannot get our gloved hand in there to grab the handle.

QA: Oven Roaster

Q: Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my question.

I have a Rival Roaster Oven 8 quarts. Can I use the same way as a slow cooker? If the answer is yes, then what the temperature on the oven Rotisserie should I use when the slow cooker recipes call for "low" or "high" temperature?

A(!): In my opinion, it would not use the oven Roaster. Just turn the setting to a high temperature roast and cook for 1 / 4 times before you lower the temperature to cook the roast low for the rest of the time required to finish the dish. Use the "keep warm" setting "only" at the end when the cooking is finished. You want everything to be done, there is no risk of food poisoning at the end. The food must be anything hot or cold between the two. Then the bacteria have a good time.

A: Sorry, I was not online when you asked your question, but I suggest going to the following site:

www.recipetips.com/glossary-
/ T. .. term / roasters oven.asp --

They should be able to answer all your questions. I have a roaster oven 18 quart, and the instruction book was written in stone if I do not want to lose. LOL

Good luck!

Happy Holidays!

Q: this is the first time I used an oven 20 qt programmable roaster - Got It's free and without the manual. Put it breast side up, and only the bottom and legs is golden. Any suggestions for next time?

A(!): Hello, very probably, Turkey is too big for the roaster and not enough heat could get between the top of the turkey and the top of the roasting pan to brown it.
