Q: I have the main power into the kitchen,
I have a range hood and recessed light. I want to control the back light switch as end of line.
I removed the existing light and planned to replace by a withdrawal, but stupid me forgot the wiring label and now I can not understand how to connect only if the recessed light is controlled by the switch and hood n is not affected.
Please help. ive been messing with this for some time.

A: Lee is correct if you know which wire is which. If not, test each wire for voltage. The hot line should be the only one that shows the tension. Then, turn the range hood and turn the switch. Test for continuity son remaining horn black to white. Leg switch should show continuity and range hood should not.
Once you identify the son, linking the three blacks to another. Connect the white leg switch to the black light. Finally, connect the white light to the two other white son.
