Incident Reports
The following incidents were reported by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office and the Kinston Department of Public Safety:
On Nov. 24, a woman on Carver Court, Kinston, reported someone broke into her residence and stole the following: A Memorex DVD player valued at $30, a silver CD player valued at $30, a purple computer game console valued at $150, a booster phone valued at $50, 50 DVDs valued at $250, and 60 CDs valued at $300.
On Nov. 24, an employee of Aaron's on West Vernon Avenue, Kinston, reported an employee stole a Dell laptop computer. The computer is valued at $700.
On Nov. 24, a woman on North Orion Street, Kinston, reported someone stole a purse from her vehicle. Values for the stolen items were unavailable.
On Nov. 24, a woman reported someone assaulted her, resulting in minor injuries. The incident occurred on Charlotte Avenue, Kinston.
On Nov. 24, an employee of Kangaroo on North Herritage Street, Kinston, reported someone passed counterfiet currency.
